The staging date for the very largest employers has past and the employer duties relating to automatic enrolment are now in force for them. For the majority of employers the journey has yet to begin, however many of the details and resulting implications are still being clarified. Staging dates have changed, and The Pensions Regulator (TPR) continues to update their guidance for employers. Calvert Financial Solutions can advise how the rules have changed and practical help to those who are still wondering where, and when, to start.
Employers will need expert help and advice to understand the impact of their automatic enrolment duties and design the right automatic enrolment solution for them. Our SME Auto Enrolment Design Service will do both.
Employers can either use their own pension scheme to comply with these new laws or rely on a Government built scheme – the National Employment Savings Trust (NEST) scheme.
Do you want to keep control of your employee benefits package or rely on someone else, who knows nothing about your business, to do it for you?
The service will:
- Gather all the information required
- Find out your specific staging date (which may have changed)
- Review any current pension schemes and assess how they can be best utilised
- Assess your workforce
- Model different scheme options
- Provide precise guidance and support through the implementation phase
The Pensions Regulator has an excellent mini site for automatic enrolment if you wish to do (a lot of) further reading. Automatic Enrolment at The Pensions Regulator
